Dry, Aging, and Sun-Damaged Skin

Cleansing your skin in the morning and applying a skin clarifying lotion is essential to getting clear skin.

Cleanse with the ReGlow Cleanser. You will need Fuller's earth (Multani mitti), Honey, Saffron (Kesar), and Rose water. Here's how you make it:


On dry skin, apply a liberal amount of the paste so as to coat the entire face (include the neck, if you experience breakouts on your neck), keep for 10 minutes and rinse well.   • Put a lid on the jar loosely and place in the pan with the water.
  • As the water heats, the ingredients in the jar will start to melt. Shake or stir occasionally to
  • incorporate.
  • When all ingredients are completely melted, add the zinc oxide, stir in well and pour into
  • whatever jar or tin you will use for storage.
  • Small mason jars (pint size) are great for this. It will not pump well in a lotion pump!
  • Stir a few times as it cools to make sure zinc oxide is incorporated.
  • Use as you would regular sunscreen. Best if used within six months.

Take a cotton ball/pad and soak it in some Lemon Rose Water Toner. This is a very simple recipe for which you will need Lemon Juice, and Rose water. Here's how you make this:
  • Add a few drops of lemon juice to rose water
  • Move the contents to a bottle
  • Be sure to shake the bottle well before applying the toner on dry skin.

  • Combine Bengal Gram (Besan), Turmeric Powder, Milk in a bowl and mix until smooth, adding a little water if necessary.
  • Allow the mixture to sit for 5 minutes after mixing.

Exfoliate your skin for 5 minutes on application of the paste. Leave it to dry and wash the face with warm water after 10 minutes.

  • Blend some soaked almonds to form a paste.
  • Mix and blend yogurt, saffron and sandalwood powder with it.
  • It should be stored in refrigeration.
