Straight Hair

Dry scalp, Hair Loss

Straight Hair is the no-frills hair type, in that it needs very low maintenance on a day to day basis. Although it has its fair share of benefits, in most cases straight hair suffers from a lack of perceived volume.

Dry scalp is a major menace to your hair if left unaddressed as it tends to cause itching and flaking of the scalp. It is only exacerbated by harsh chemicals present in many hair care products so it is important to treat it using natural herbal treatments.

Hair Loss also known as alopecia usually occurs with the scalp hair thinning either in patches or uniformly across. Hair loss is usually caused by genetic factors although external factors can also play a part with stress, hard water, infection, drugs, and pregnancy all known causes. It usually starts on the temples or crown(male) or top of the head(female). (In case of aggressive hair loss we recommend consulting a dermatologist)

Straight hair with dry scalp prone to hair loss requires nourishing the scalp using a DHT fighting Grapeseed Overnight Conditioner. This is followed by a gentle Shikakai Shampoo for effective cleansing and then a healthful Raspberry Serum. Fenugreek seed mask boosts hair growth and strengthens hair shaft while Hot Oil Deep Conditioner ensures the rebalancing of the valuable nutrients.

Nourishing the scalp using a DHT fighting conditioner overnight is integral to this regimen. This is followed by a gentle herbal shampoo for effective cleansing.

Step One: Twice or thrice a week simply massage your scalp and hair at night with the Grapeseed Overnight Conditioner, let it seep in overnight and wash off with the gentle Shikakai Shampoo in the morning.

Step Two: Cleanse with the Shikakai Shampoo twice a week (if hair feel too oily a third weekly wash is okay occasionally). Wash your hair with the shampoo. Applying a mask which boosts hair growth and strengthens hair shaft is a fundamental aspect of an effective hair care regime.

Step One: Atleast eight times a month (On days you don't condition and shampoo), apply the Fenugreek seed mask to the scalp and hair and let it set for 30 minutes to one hour, covering your hair with a shower cap so that it does not get dry. Rinse off with plenty of water, no need of using a cleanser or shampoo.
